Thousands of people converged on Belfast city centre on Friday for the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade.

The parade - organised by Belfast City Council in partnership with the Beat Carnival - left the City Hall at noon and made it’s way to Custom House Square where there was a free concert headlined by X Factor’s Fleur East, London girl group Stooshe, the Belfast Boys’ Model Drummers and traditional band The Rare Aul Stuff.

The parade had sections depicting Belfast’s four quarter - Cathedral, Gaeltacht, Queen’s and Titanic.
