Video: State of emergency declared in Alberta in Canada as wildfires rage

Alberta, Canada, declares a state of emergency as wildfires continue to rage - having already torched 1,600 homes and buildings and forcing more than 80,000 residents to flee.

No injuries or fatalities have been reported. Unseasonably hot temperatures combined with dry conditions have transformed the boreal forest in much of Alberta into a tinder box.
