Today history is made when The Queen becomes the longest serving British monarch ever.
And to mark the occasion, last night Finance Minister Arlene Foster MLA hosted a special reception at Parliament Buildings.
The event featured a display of important royal-related artefacts, including a throne actually used by The Queen when she visited Stormont.
Speaking at the reception, Arlene said The Queen had been "a fixed point in an ever-changing world."
"Throughout her long years of public service she has displayed a tireless devotion to our country and its people.
"At all times she has carried out her duties with a warmth of spirit and a kindness of heart that has won her friends and admirers the length and breadth of the globe."
