Video: UK Aid and WFP provide 3.7 million food rations for Syrians


The UK Department for International Development (DFID) reports that in 2014, UK Aid helped the World Food Programme provide approximately 3.7 million food rations for Syrian people, both in the country and across neighbouring states such as Jordan and Lebanon. In total, the UK said it had provided £161 million ($253 million) to WFP’s Syria crisis response, with over 10 million Syrians in need of humanitarian food assistance.
