Mark Chapman was a hero for the Stop the Drill Campaign when he chained himself on top of a huge drill lorry when it arrived close to the site at Woodburn, near Carrickfergus.
Mark said it was his own personal contribution to the campaign.
After several hours police forced Mr Chapman back down from his position on top of the vehicle.
The protestors then staged a slow walk in front of a line of PSNI riot officers as the drill lorry made it's way up towards the entrance of the drill site in Woodburn forest.
Other officers flanked both sides of the vehicle.
